MEXICO: Family’s Multiorgan Donation at ISSSTE Hospital Saves Lives in Historic 2025 Event

This generous act, performed at the General Hospital of the Institute for Social Security and Services for State Workers, marks the first multi-organ procurement of 2025 and provides a beacon of hope for two individuals in critical need of transplants.

Ricardo was a healthy individual until an unfortunate domestic accident led to a severe brain injury, resulting in brain death.
