RE: BOOK RELEASE
Tragedy to Triumph is the compelling and poignant story of how two lives intertwined in their darkest hour, and the years of triumph that followed. Tragedy to Triumph provides a unique perspective on organ donation and is an invaluable resource for donor families, recipients, medical personnel, and potential donors alike.
Tragedy to Triumph – The Story of Tom’s Heart is the harrowing and heart-wrenching tragedy that struck him and his family. At the worst moment any family should ever have to deal with, the parents said yes to organ, eye, and tissue donation so the lives of others could be saved and healed. As Tom’s mother, it offered me hope in the midst of despair, a purpose in the midst of tragedy, and light in the midst of the darkest night of my life.
By saying yes to organ, eye and tissue donation, Tom's family provided Pete Radigan with the gift of life, his new heart.
This is their tragic yet life-saving story…
The release of Tragedy to Triumph – The Story of Tom's Heart would not have been possible without the support our co-author Jim McGrath, our sponsor, BioMatrix Specialty Pharmacy, Transplant Division, the support of Donate Life America, and Transplant News..
