This generous donation included two kidneys, a liver, a cornea, and musculoskeletal tissue, providing critical support to an estimated 150 to 200 patients in dire need of transplants. Elix Barajas, the organ procurement coordinator, emphasized the substantial impact of such donations, explaining how bone tissue can be processed into various forms, enabling hundreds of individuals to access essential life-saving treatments.
