For the Edwards family, music and resilience go hand in hand. Diagnosed with chronic kidney disease, Tammy Edwards undergoes dialysis four days a week. Despite this, she and her sisters have continued to share their love for music, performing together for over 40 years. Their father introduced them to singing, and their faith and music have been their anchors through the toughest times.
The family has faced numerous health challenges. Tammy’s sister, Tina, passed away from cancer, and another sister, Tonette, also battled kidney disease but successfully received a transplant three years ago. Tammy has now made it onto the kidney transplant list, bringing hope amid their hardships. Despite these struggles, the Edwards sisters remain hopeful and united, looking forward to better days with the support of their family and their music.
