For over 50 years, clinicians and researchers at Boston Children’s Hospital have focused on the unique challenges of pediatric transplantation. Their work aims to improve care and therapies for children with end-stage organ failure.
In addition to providing exceptional care, the Pediatric Transplant Center is dedicated to extending the life of organ transplants, minimizing the side effects of immunosuppressive medications, and developing advanced therapies, diagnostic techniques, and genetic testing. These efforts strive to ultimately reduce or eliminate the need for pediatric transplants.
