Rogers was hospitalized after an asthma attack on May 17 that led to cardiac arrest and severe brain injury. She was later pronounced brain dead on May 26. The mother of two young daughters, Rogers had built a strong online following documenting life as a young parent and hair and beauty creator; her family has framed donation as an extension of her desire to help others.

Inside the hospital, staff lined corridors for an honor walk before transport, a moment of respect that hospital officials arranged to recognize the donor and support her family. Procurement and transplant teams coordinated with regional organ networks so the organs could reach multiple transplant centers and patients in need, illustrating the logistics that turn a single family’s choice into multiple lifesaving surgeries.

Rogers’ mother, Cassandra Hall, said she hopes her daughter’s decision will encourage others to register as organ donors. Family and clinicians emphasized that transplantation has transformed private grief into tangible hope for recipients and ensured Rogers’ legacy will live on through the lives she helped save and through her children.
