$11K+ Raised For 4-Year-Old Lindsay’S Stem Cell Transplant Fund

A four-year-old boy from Lindsay, named Jesiah, is in need of a life-saving bone marrow transplant due to a severe form of anemia. Jesiah has been dealing with blood-related issues since birth, requiring multiple transfusions and high doses of steroids. Despite his undiagnosed condition, doctors at Valley Children’s Hospital suspect a rare and severe form of anemia. Jesiah’s mother, Anayh Acevedo, has been working three jobs to afford the necessary treatment and support her son during recovery. Insurance does not cover all the costs, so Acevedo’s friends have started a GoFundMe campaign to help with living expenses during their stay in Palo Alto. Donations and prayers are greatly appreciated as they prepare for Jesiah’s bone marrow transplant in March.
