The Sri Padmavati Children’s Heart Centre (SPCHC), operated by the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), is preparing for another heart transplant surgery. A heart extracted from a brain-dead patient in Visakhapatnam will be transported through the green channel at 11.00 p.m. on Monday. To ensure a successful operation, Chief Minister Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has instructed authorities at both ends to take all necessary precautions. This will mark the 13th heart transplant surgery conducted at the hospital within the past year.
The SPCHC, under the TTD’s management, is recognized for its expertise in pediatric cardiac care. This upcoming surgery emphasizes the center’s dedication to saving lives and providing critical medical interventions for children with heart conditions. With the support of Chief Minister Reddy and proper precautionary measures, the medical team at the SPCHC aims to carry out the heart transplant successfully. This achievement not only contributes to the hospital’s impressive record but also highlights the remarkable advancements in medical science that improve the lives of patients in need of organ transplants.
