Bayonne Wrestling Coach’s Transplant Recovery Sparks Overwhelming Support

A fundraiser has been launched to support Jerome Otis-Harris, who recently underwent a kidney transplant. Otis-Harris has been battling focal segmental glomerulosclerosis, a chronic kidney condition that causes scarring. He was first diagnosed in 2008 and received a kidney transplant that year. However, despite dialysis and medication, his kidney failed again, necessitating a new transplant.

The recent transplant has led to Otis-Harris being unable to work, and the funds raised through the campaign will assist him during this challenging time. Currently, over $6,000 has been collected as of February 20th. Those interested in contributing can access the fundraiser by clicking on the provided link.
