April 20 Fundraiser Supports Local Man In Need Of Kidney Transplant

Haines City resident Ed Strickler, who is suffering from Polycystic Kidney Disease, will benefit from a fundraising event scheduled for April 20. The Kidney For Ed Fundraiser, to be held at Winter Haven’s Tanner’s Lakeside Restaurant, will feature a murder mystery show with an 1980s theme and a live performance by local rock band Atomic Cherry. The event will be headlined by Our Murder Mystery Co., a group recently featured on the TV show “Shark Tank.”

Tickets for the event are available for $60 each and include a barbecue meal, beverages, participation in the murder mystery event, and access to the Atomic Cherry performance. Limited tickets can be purchased at the fundraising website. The proceeds from the event will go towards the Kidney for Ed fund, which aims to support Ed Strickler with the costs associated with his upcoming kidney transplant and recovery.

This fundraiser not only provides an entertaining evening for attendees but also offers an opportunity to contribute towards the well-being of a community member facing significant health challenges. By rallying together and supporting the Kidney for Ed fund, individuals can contribute to the success of Strickler’s transplant and help alleviate the financial burden associated with the procedure.
